This Thursday April 22, 2010 the Washington County Farm Bureau is sponsoring their Annual Farm Friends event. This is located in the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Arena in Fayetteville. The Arena is located just off of Garland Ave. (Hwy 112.). Here are directions to the Arena
This is a great family FREE family event that includes a bean and cornbread dinner. The daytime hours are reserved for school and preschool groups to attend the event. But the evening hours are great for families. Kids get the chance to pet and even hold some of the animals. In the past there was a fake cow so kids could try their hand at milking. My son was 7 last year and enjoyed the event. It’s hard to find anything better than free entertainment for the kids and free dinner for everyone.
